In 2003 The Luz Sauvignon Foundation requested the design of a laboratory to be placed alongside a foot ball field of its School in the Tacubaya neighborhood, Mexico City. A wall to ceiling glass box with metal sunscreens supported by a steel structure painted in black was proposed to protect this small dwelling from the foot ball thumbs and the early east orientation, owing to lab´s schedules are in the morning. At daytime the box materializes as a black steel solid prism and by night looks like a paper lamp. Stainless steel top tables were set perpendicularly, liberating the glass walls. Cement floors emphasize the construction austerity. During rainy season the football field view from the inside appears to be an impressionist picture.
